Another perfectly planned photoshoot, but hey that's the name after all. Perfectly Planned is a wedding planning company in Cleveland and I can tell you first-hand, Val's work is beyond compare. I've had the pleasure of working with her on two different occasions, in doing styled shoots she was heading, and they both had me leaving with butterflies. Talk about a girl with vision, her ability to combine different elements into wedding magic is unlike anything I've ever seen, but I'll let her work speak for itself... The day began at The Madison, which is this brand new white brick industrial dream venue, in Cleveland. I started with hair and makeup from Beauty Therapy, which was done by their wonderful stylist Erin, who gave me a tight ballerina bun and soft purple makeup hues. Val paired that with a lovely Essence of Australia gown and a cathedral-style veil from The Dress, making this look to die for. My husband arrived and was put into THE coolest tuxedo I've ever seen, quite frankly I'm shocked he gave it back... I'm pretty sure I caught him trying to negotiate for it on a couple occasions. TheBlackTux never disappoints though. They have the most unique (and fly) outfits in the tux game, this jacket was navy blue with black lapels and tiny white polka dots—class, class, class. I know I'm biased, but he walked out looking like a g-damn GQ ad. Whew! Val and the other vendors had been preparing this room all day. There was a gorgeous floral ceremony arch, done by Dietz Falls Florist and Mayesh Cleveland, on one end of the room and a beautifully detailed head table at the other. Two floral towers draped over this modern classic table, with a color scheme of raspberry, iris and midnight blue, decorated with everything from The Blonde Maker's personalized coasters and table numbers to colorful linens and stemware from Event Source and Borrow Rentals. Walking through this space, it was hard not to get those wedding day butterflies all over again. The decorations felt chic and luxurious, yet filled with romance. The colors popped, giving amazing accents in the otherwise white venue. The attention to detail was beyond compare. We popped champagne on the couch, kissed under the archway and toasted at the table. It wasn't until the shoot was over that we dove into the good stuff (the sweets duh), but my was it worth the wait.
